I was on duty travel to Manila for two months. I stayed in Makati which is bustling place within Manila. Plenty of options to shop and eat. Project team also took me to some historic Spanish monument called the Intramuros and the Rizal Shrine. I liked the local Gulaman drink with all its ingredients and the dried mangoes. I understand that it was Indians who introduced mangoes to Philippines. I had heard lot of about the Banacue rice terraces, Boracay and Cebu beaches but unfortunately project timeline did not permit me.
