My Trip Souvenirs

The Land of the Incas Offers :

We visited Peru on our way to complete 3 of the wonders including one in Brazil and Mexico. We flew into Lima from Sao Paulo. We took a day break in Lima and also took a small car ride along the Pacific Ocean and also the Pan American Highway road. Next day we took a Lan Chile flight to Cuzco which has well preserved Spanish monuments. Our guide then took over for the entire experience. After visiting the monuments we set off by road to a place called Ollantaytambo to take the Peru rail via the Andes to Macha Pichu. On the way to Ollantaytambo, we visited the Sacred valley and the Pisac Indian Market where we found plenty of Incas souvenirs including woollen sweaters from the animal Llama. We pick up a sweater each in the market which was very windy but a good experience and different type of people. Post Pisac market we headed towards a restaurant with the Andes and tried some local food with full of cheese :). Our guide also took us to a place where orphaned animals are taken care. We got upclose with Lamas and also got to see various Peruvian vegetables.
From Ollantaytambo we took Peru rail towards Macha Pichu in the evening. Next day early morning a short trip by bus to the top of the mountains to view the remains of the Incas civilisation. This is truly one of the best preserved wonder of the world. Plenty of time to take pictures and also close ups with Llamas. One interesting fact was that if you tilt your head rightwards towards the Macha pichu, it represents the face of an Incas warrior. Please try to believe it. Surprised to know that lot of Peruvians knew Shah Rukh Khan . On our way back we bumped into Peruvian football team who were on their way to Brazil for copa cup. Though we didn't know the players directly, we just took a picture with one of their player :)
