The Land of Temples offers :
a) Museum, Phnom Penh
b) Angkor Wat, Bayon 👍
c) Khmer Massages
d) Night Market
e) Handicrafts 👍 🛒
f) Khmer Food 🍱 Khmer Curry is similar in taste to Thai curries. May be the border influence.

Cambodia has come a long way since the earlier Khmer Rouge regime and still recovering from the mass killings of the past. We arrived in Phnom Penh but we hardly spent any time here apart from few pictures of the Mekong river. We then travelled to Siam Reap by road. It takes around 4 hours to reach this lovely little place. Accommodation is very cheap in this place. People are very friendly. We hired a tuk tuk for the entire day and visited the Angkor complex. You get a 2 day pass for around $25+. It was lovely to see one of the biggest Hindu temple complex and also the Bayon temple with the calm face of Lord Shiva. We did get all our perfect pictures and then tried out the Khmer massages before moving onto Bangkok for our way back to DXB.
We did try out the Khmer food which is similar to Thai food. Cambodian Handicrafts are plenty around with paintings, replicas , Bayon masks etc.
