We had a day trip to Bahrain as travel bug had indeed bitten me so severely that I couldnt just be stopped. The key highlight of the trip was the King Fahad Causeway a bridge that connects to Saudi. We paid a small fee to go up on a tower to view the same. Truly amazing this man made wonder.
We also visited the F1 Stadium, viewed the first oil Pump and also the Tree of Life. Tree of life is 400 year old single tree in the desert. We visited Manama souk to pick up some souvenirs on the way. As we had plenty of time still left, we visited a local mall to view a Bollywood Picture and headed straight back to DXB.
