I have been to Oman quite few times to Muscat and Musandam. I love the road trip from Dubai to Oman with Arabian sea on the way. Muscat is just another city but I liked the Mutrah Souk for shopping experience with plenty of antiques to pick from. Nizwa is another place where we have been to see the grand canyon look alike. I might return to this place one day for an overnight stay inside the canyon. A Dhow trip in Musandam or Muscat will be good to see all the islets and if you get lucky to catch up with the Dolphins.
